Alltel to launch Text to landline messaging
This I find absolutely amazing and a tremendous demonstration at how far technology has come especially when it comes to integrating cell phones with our current technology.
Messaging services provider Messaging International announced its TeleMessage subsidiary inked a deal with Alltel Wireless to launch its Text-to-Landline application across the operator’s network. Text-to-Landline enables Alltel subscribers to send text messages from their wireless handset to any landline phone–each SMS is converted to voice for landline recipients, and their voice response is converted back to text for wireless users.
